Jessica was called home by God this morning at 12:40am. She was surrounded by friends, co-workers and family. Funeral arrangements will be posted as they are arranged.
Thank you all for showing her love, courage and support through this tough challenge she was faced with.
Love,
Paul (her brother)
Thank you, Paul. This is not the news that we hoped for or wanted to hear, but it is comforting to know that she is no longer in pain and is with her mother, her brother John and God. Please allow this blog to remain here for a while so that all of Jessica's family and friends may reread her words as she fought her illness with such clarity of mind, amazing class and dignity. Her loss will be felt by all who knew her. My sincerest heartfelt condolences to all in the Vega family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica through my daughter Benetta who also work in the e.r. I had a 70's theme birthday party, and she wore a purple psychodelic mini dress with boots. She was no stranger to having fun. There was no SHAME in her game coming down that disco line! I was indeed saddened to hear of her illness. My sincere condolences to family and friends Annice Stith
ReplyDeleteWe send our prayers that the Lord grant Jessica eternal rest and that our Sorrowful Mother intercede for Jessica and her family that they may be granted peace and consolation at this time of loss.
